Madeline Pifer, M.A., CCC-SLP

Madeline is a speech language pathologist who specializes in working with children and adults with disorders of speech, language, voice, cognition, and swallowing. She offers home visits to families local to San Luis Obispo, CA, and tele-health visits across the state of California. Madeline values evidence - based, client-centered care with an emphasis on functional goals.

She earned her BA in Psychology and MA in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Maryland, before moving out to the West Coast in 2020. She is licensed to practice speech pathology in the state of California and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. She is certified in Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT LOUD) for Parkinson’s disease. She has experience working in outpatient clinics, hospitals, and rehab facilities, and enjoys working with persons with a diverse range of communication needs. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, reading, and riding her Peloton bike.
